Which cookies this site sets, what each one is for, and how to change what you allow.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can recognise it on the next visit. Some are set by us, some by services we use. Similar technologies such as local storage and tracking pixels work the same way, and everything on this page applies to them too.
When you first arrive you get a banner asking which categories you accept. Only the strictly necessary cookies are set before you choose. You can change your mind at any time by opening the cookie settings from the banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Declining a category does not stop you using the site. It only means some things, such as remembering your preferences or measuring which pages are useful, will not work.
| Category | What it does | Set without consent? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps the site secure, remembers your cookie choice, keeps a form working while you fill it in. | Yes. The site cannot work without them. |
| Functional | Remembers preferences such as a chosen structure or finish so you do not have to pick again. | No |
| Analytics | Counts visits and shows us which pages people actually read, so we can cut the ones nobody uses. | No |
| Marketing | Measures whether an advert led to an enquiry, and limits how often you see the same one. | No |
This list is checked whenever we change the site. If you find one that is not here, tell us at [email protected] and we will correct it.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookieyes-consent | CookieYes | Stores which categories you accepted | 1 year |
| _ga, _ga_<property id> | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
| We do not set any marketing or advertising cookies at the moment. If that changes, this table and the consent banner are updated before the cookie is used. | |||
Some pages embed content from other companies, for example a map or a video. Those companies can set their own cookies once the content loads, and they decide what they do with the data. We only load that content after you accept the relevant category.
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, usually under Privacy. Blocking all cookies will break parts of most websites, not just this one. The help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge each explain the exact steps for that browser.
Our Privacy policy explains what we do with the personal data behind these cookies, how long we keep it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
